RESIDENT TREATMENT WORKER Vacancy # 2BR Salary $28,745 - $42,016
Job Description
These positions performs basic para-professional nursing or therapeutic work in the care or treatment of residents at a state institution for the elderly, mentally retarded, or mentally ill; and perform related work as required. Positions at the Woodward and Glenwood Resource Facilities perform the following duties: Provide direct care, support, treatment and training to persons with developmental disabilities. The RTW position is a key part of the interdisciplinary team and contributes to the development of person-centered plans that provide for treatment while promoting choices and options. Specialty programs at the Resource Centers are available in the area of autism and treatment of sex-offenders with mental retardation. RTW's are also assigned to community support areas in respite care and supervised apartment living.
