ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FLOOR TECHNICIAN – Full Time (40 hrs wk) Night Shift 3p – 11:30p with every other weekend. The Floor Technician is the individual who clean and maintains floors, carpets, and hard surfaces in the hospital. Duties include: cleaning and buffing hard surfaces, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing and stripping, carpet extraction. May clean furniture, empty trash, linen, and garbage containers. May handle hazardous waste in accordance with government regulations and hospital standards.

INFECTION PREVENTION TECH – Full Time Night Shift 3p – 11:30p with weekend rotation - Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, rest rooms, hallways, elevators and stairways according to procedures. Practices infection control techniques in all duties. Empties trash and garbage containers, replenishes supplies, and may change sheets and replenish linens. Notifies director concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and participates in regular meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

LABORATORY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST AND OR MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - 2 Full Time Openings (40 hrs wk) - ONE MID SHIFT 10a - 6:30p & 1 EVENING 2p – 10:30p WITH ROTATING WEEKENDS AND 1 PRN OPENING - Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory.  Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. The MT must have 4 year Baccalaureate, MT(ASCP or CLS (MLS) or board eligible.  The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Must have post-secondary certificate or an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science required. MLT certification through ASCP, AMT or AAB. The MLT works under direct supervisor of MT

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE INTERNAL MEDICINE – CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT - Full Time Days (40 hrs wk) -  Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE EXPRESS CARE - CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – 2 Full Time Positions (40 hrs wk) - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE ADMINISTRATION 2 POSITIONS - CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT FLOAT – Full Time -Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

SPECIAL NURSING SERVICES -  OUTPATIENT DEPT. – REGISTERED NURSE – Part Time Days (20 hrs wk) Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients.  Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. Practices in clinic setting directed toward meeting patient needs. 

INTENSIVE CARE UNITREGISTERED NURSE – 2 PRN II - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver, collaborate with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.   

TELEMETRY TECH – Full Time Nights (36 hrs a wk) 7 pm to 7am - Certified Nurse Assistant Certification (CNA) and completion of required EKG course within 60 days of hire are required.  Up to 12 months of arrhythmia interpretation (preferred). The Telemetry Technician works in collaboration with and under direct supervision of the RN. The Telemetry Technician observes, interprets, and documents cardiac rhythms as seen on the telemetry EKG monitors.                                                                                                                              

IMAGINGRAD/TECH PRN STUDENTS - Performs basic imaging procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including trauma radiography & surgery radiography.  Assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as necessary. Applicants must be attending and in good-standing with an accredited radiography program.

SURGERY –  RN ASCU/PACU/PRE-OP – Full Time Days (32 hrs wk) - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, may be assigned to carry out Charge Nurse functions, collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. 

REHABILITATION SERVICES ATHLETIC TRAINER PRN - Responsible delivering athletic training services at participating schools and for community events as appropriate.  Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability in the high school setting.  Implements the proper referral for further medical attention when necessary.  Plan and schedule community education projects.  Performs daily functions of the athletic training room.  The Certified Athletic Trainer will assist with day-to-day operations; work closely with other staff, physicians, student-athletes, parents, and other clients.  Required 4 year 4 year Baccalaureate Degree, NATABOC & must be licensed in the state of Kansas.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST– Full Time Days - Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.   Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  The staff therapist coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff 2017(PTA, Rehab Aide etc.). Must be licensed in the State of Kansas.

EMERGENCY DEPT.– REGISTERED NURSE NURSE – 3 OPENINGS – 1 Full Time Mid (36 hrs wk,  11am-11pm), 1 Part Time Days (16 hours per pay period), & 1 PRN II - Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care & determines priorities on patient’s needs. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.

CHARGE RN – 4 Full Time (36 hrs wk) OPENINGS – 2 Day Shifts & 2 Night Shifts –

CHARGE RN RELIEF – 2 OPENINGS – 1 Part Time Day Shift (12 hrs wk) & 1 Part Time Night Shift (12 hrs wk) -

Licensed registered nurse provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, performing general nursing duties.  Shares accountability with Emergency Services Director for effective organization and function of the Emergency Department on a 24 hour/ 7 day a week basis, and collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients

MEDICAL SURGICAL DEPT. – REGISTERED NURSE – 1 Full Time Nights, 1 Full Time Days (36 hrs per pay period) & PRN’s - Kansas licensed RN accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients and collaborates with nursing and other health care.

CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (C.N.A.) 1 Part Time Days (12 hrs wk)  -  Accountable for providing patient care in collaboration with the registered nurse, for all age groups of patient care

PATIENT ACCESS – ER ACCESS REPRESENTATIVES –1 PRN Nights 6:30p – 6:30a & weekends - Provides indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.  Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.  Implements directions from physicians and nursing staff. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters demographic and insurance information required for admission into the computer system correctly. Collects point of service collections from patients upon the registration process. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Ensures highest level of customer service is provided to the patients and their families.
