ENGINEERING -  FULL TIME 40 HRS/WEEK - Maintains work orders, Preventative Maintenance programs, plant and campus operations, off site properties and various utility systems.  Repairs and maintains structures, machinery, mechanical equipment, plumbing, electrical, painting, general carpentry, and basic HVAC.  Full time engineering

FAMILY BIRTHPLACE – REGISTERED NURSE – NIGHTS 7PM-7AM - Provides direct patient care in the Labor/Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum setting.  Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.  Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies.  Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision. 

LABORATORY – MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST – 3 POSTIONS OPEN - Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory.  Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory.  Participates in Quality Improvement Activities. Must have 4 year Baccalaureate, MT(ASCP or CLS (MLS) or board eligible.

LABORATORY – PHLEBOTOMIST – HALF TIME Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently.  Has thorough knowledge of test requirements, assists in Clinical Laboratory as needed.  Responsible for sample collections of all types from all ages of patients.  Responsible for clerical functions relevant to laboratory procedures.

REHABILITATION SERVICES PHYSICAL THERAPIST – Full Time Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Administers treatments and physical agents in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  The staff therapist coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff 2017(PTA, Rehab Aide etc.). Must be licensed in the State of Kansas.

SPECIAL NURSING SERVICES -  OUT PATIENT DEPT. -RN – PRN II - Day Shift - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients.  Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. Practices in clinic setting directed toward meeting patient needs. 

 

SOCIAL WORKER - OUTPATIENT SOCIAL WORKER (24 hrs wk) Provides psychosocial assessment and intervention to meet patient needs in an outpatient setting.  Works effectively as part of the social work and multidisciplinary health care team to provide patient/family support with chronic, acute, or terminal illness. Provides social work services to patients/families addressing psychosocial, environmental, age specific and cultural issues in order to maximize emotional, social and physical well-being effectively using health care and community resources. Kansas licensed Social Worker, BSW required, MSW preferred.

INTENSIVE CARE UNITREGISTERED NURSE – 2 PRN II - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver, collaborate with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.

 

IMAGINGRAD/TECH PRN STUDENTS - Performs basic imaging procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including trauma radiography & surgery radiography.  Assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as necessary. Applicants must be attending and in good-standing with an accredited radiography program.

 

IMAGING ACCESS REPRESENTATIVE – FULL TIME- 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Mon. – Fri. - Greets patients and visitors who report the Imaging/Lab reception area. Maintains Imaging Services records and provides film management functions.  Responsible for preparing and completing required paperwork and reports. Assists with non-patient Laboratory and Outpatient registration procedures from the clinics.  Serves as a back-up for Registration, as needed. Ensures patients’ privacy is protected by complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES – ES TECH – 2 Full Time Positions (40 hrs wk) 2nd Shift 3pm – 11:30pm & every other weekend - Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways according to procedures.  Practices infection control techniques in all duties

NURSING ADMINISTRATIONNURSING SUPERVISOR- The Nursing House Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her assigned shift. In the absence of the Administrator and/or designee, the Nursing House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator-on-Call.

 

MEDICAL SURGICAL DEPT. – INPATIENT MANAGER - Licensed registered nurse shares

accountability with Executive Director Assistant CCO for effective organization and function of the Medical Surgical and Intensive Care Unit on a 24 hour/ 7 day a week basis, assists overall operations of the unit.  Coordinating and developing staff. Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients, provides patient care as necessary.

REGISTERED NURSE – 2 Full Time Nights & 1 Full Time Days(36 hrs per pay period) & PRN’s - Kansas licensed RN accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients and collaborates with nursing and other health care.

EMERGENCY DEPT.– REGISTERED NURSE – 4 OPENINGS – 2 Full Time Mid (36 hrs wk, 11-11 & 1-1), Part Time Days (12 hours pp) & 1 PRN II - Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care & determines priorities on patient’s needs. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas. 

PHYSICIAN PRACTICES – SEVERAL OPENINGS

NEUROLOGY – CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Full Time Days (40 hrs wk) – Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills.   Day to day activities will vary from answering phones, taking medical histories to performing lab work.  Certification Preferred.

SURGICAL CLINIC – TEMPORARY CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT –Part Time (30 hrs wk) - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.

 

EXPRESS CARE - ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE – Full Time (40 hrs wk) & a few PRN’s - Responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling. Works under direct supervision of a physician following established guidelines as required and within established scope of practice. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas & urgent care experience required.

CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT –Full Time (40 hrs wk) - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.
