LABORATORY PHLEBOTOMIST - Part Time (20 hrs wk) Monday – Friday 3p to 7p - Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently.  Has thorough knowledge of test requirements, assists in Clinical Laboratory as needed.  Responsible for sample collections of all types from all ages of patients.  Responsible for clerical functions relevant to laboratory procedures.

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST AND OR MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - Full Time (40 hrs wk) – Day Shift 6:30a – 5p (4 – 10’s) WITH ROTATING WEEKENDS - Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory.  Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. The MT must have 4 year Baccalaureate, MT(ASCP or CLS (MLS) or board eligible.  The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Must have post-secondary certificate or an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science required. MLT certification through ASCP, AMT or AAB. The MLT works under direct supervisor of MT

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES $1,000. SIGN ON BONUS FOR NEW HIRES ONLY (receive bonus upon hire but agrees to stay for one year) & $250 BONUS FOR EMPLOYEES IF THEY RECRUIT & NEW HIRE STAYS FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS.

INFECTION PREVENTION TECHS NEEDED

– 4 Full Time Positions (bonus) (40 hrs wk) 1st shift 7a – 3:30p (1 in ER & 1 in hospital), 2ND Shift 3p – 11:30p (1 in ER & in hospital) ALL FT openings will have weekend rotation – Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, rest rooms, hallways, elevators and stairways according to procedures. Practices infection control techniques in all duties. Empties trash and garbage containers, replenishes supplies, and may change sheets and replenish linens. Notifies director concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and participates in regular meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

BUSINESS OFFICE - INSURANCE BILLING REP – Full Time (40 hrs wk) Days Mon – Fri - Responsible for the insurance billing process between the hospital and insurance companies, federal agencies and third-party payers.  Processes all edits for all payers making sure claims are sent to the payers as accurately as possible. Audits patient accounts to ensure procedure, charges and coding accuracy.  Collects payments from commercial insurance companies, state and federal agencies

 

REGISTRATION –PATIENT ACCESS REP – Part Time (20 hrs wk) Days - Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and admission of individuals who have hospital based outpatient testing or procedures. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters demographic and insurance information required for admission into the computer system correctly. Collects point of service collections from patients upon the registration process. Acts as a financial counselor in aiding patients with billing questions and setting up payment arrangements.

SWITCHBOARD – Part Time (24 hrs per pay period) every other weekend Days (6:30a – 6:30p) - Responsible for the hospital switchboard, ensuring incoming phone calls are greeted and routed appropriately. This position is physically located in the Emergency Department. Greets patients who present to the Emergency Room window.  Responsible for creating temporary registrations in the computer system, which allows for immediate bedding for ER patients. Responsible for calling codes utilizing the overhead paging system. Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE WELLSVILLE – CLERK - - Full Time (40 hrs wk) Monday – Friday - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of medical office healthcare financial and insurance coverage policies. Performs customer service functions in the medical office setting. Performs business office responsibilities.  Responsible for scheduling patient appointments. 

 

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE BALDWIN - CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Full Time (40 hrs wk) Monday – Friday - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

 

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE EXPRESS CARE - CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Full Time Position (40 hrs wk) - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE ADMINISTRATION – CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT FLOAT – Full Time -Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

MEDICAL SURGICAL DEPT. –REGISTERED NURSE - $1,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR FULL TIME POSITIONS. $500 TO BE PAID UP FRONT & $500 PAID AFTER 6 MONTHS EMPLOYMENT. – SEVERAL POSITIONS AVAILABLE 3 Full Time Nights, 2 Full Time Days (36 hrs wk), 1 Part Time Days (24 hrs wk) & PRN’s - Kansas licensed RN accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients and collaborates with nursing and other health care.

SPECIAL NURSING SERVICES -  OUTPATIENT DEPT. – REGISTERED NURSE – Part Time Days (20 hrs wk) Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients.  Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. Practices in clinic setting directed toward meeting patient needs. 

SURGERY 

RN  ASCU/PACU - PRN II - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, may be assigned to carry out Charge Nurse functions, collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.

ORT – SURG TECH – Full Time (36 hrs wk) & PRN II – Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.  Ensures operating suite is prepared for procedure.  Monitors par level of all surgical instruments and supplies.  Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments.  Formal scrub tech training from Vocational school or armed forces preferred; CST license preferred. Call required with 15-minute response time. 

RN CIRCULATOR – PRN I - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing preoperative assessment, intraoperative case management and patient care in collaboration with other perioperative professionals to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.  Serves as a leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, may be assigned to carry out Charge Nurse functions.

                                                                                                               

EMERGENCY DEPT.– REGISTERED NURSE NURSE – SEVERAL OPENINGS – 1 Full Time Nights 7p – 7a (36 hrs wk) 1 Full Time Days 7a – 7p (36 hrs wk), 1 Part Time Days (16 hours per pay period), & 1 PRN II - Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care & determines priorities on patient’s needs. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.

CHARGE RN RELIEF – 2 OPENINGS – 1 Part Time Day Shift (12 hrs wk) & 1 Part Time Night Shift (12 hrs wk) -

Licensed registered nurse provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, performing general nursing duties.  Shares accountability with Emergency Services Director for effective organization and function of the Emergency Department on a 24 hour/ 7 day a week basis, and collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.

 

REHABILITATION SERVICES ATHLETIC TRAINER PRN - Responsible delivering athletic training services at participating schools and for community events as appropriate.  Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability in the high school setting.  Implements the proper referral for further medical attention when necessary.  Plan and schedule community education projects.  Performs daily functions of the athletic training room.  The Certified Athletic Trainer will assist with day-to-day operations; work closely with other staff, physicians, student-athletes, parents, and other clients.  Required 4 year 4 year Baccalaureate Degree, NATABOC & must be licensed in the state of Kansas.

IMAGINGRAD/TECH PRN STUDENTS - Performs basic imaging procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including trauma radiography & surgery radiography.  Assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as necessary. Applicants must be attending and in good-standing with an accredited radiography program.
