PHYSICIAN PRACTICE PEDIATRIC - CLERK – Full Time (40 hrs wk) Day Shift Monday – Friday- Perform administrative and patient care duties, support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of medical office healthcare financial and insurance coverage policies. Performs business office responsibilities.  Responsible for scheduling patient appointments.  Performs other clerical duties as needed.

REGISTERED NURSE – Full Time (40 hrs wk) – Day Shift Monday – Friday – Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients.  Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. Practices in clinic setting directed toward meeting patient needs. 

 

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE CARDIOLOGY - CLERK – Full Time (40 hrs wk) Day Shift Monday – Friday-Perform administrative and patient care duties, support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of medical office healthcare financial and insurance coverage policies. CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Full Time (40 hrs wk) – Day Shift Monday – Friday - Supports medical providers, performs nursing duties in the examination and treatment of clinic patients. These staff members function under the supervision and authority of the licensed physician, or non-physician provider licensed in State of Kansas.  Available to provide back-up and coverage to multiple RMH clinics, registration desks, and performing front and back office duties; schedules appointments, greets patients, and prepares charts; performs registration and check-in/out functions; verifies insurance benefits; maintains various records and databases of information; prepares correspondence and reports; assists the supervising physician in direct patient care, including exams and treatments within the office setting. 

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE INTERNAL MEDICINE – CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT -  Full Time Days (40 hrs wk) -  Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE EXPRESS CARE - CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – 2 Full Time Positions (40 hrs wk) - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE ADMINISTRATION –2 POSITIONS - CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT FLOAT – Full Time -Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant.

PATIENT ACCESS – IMAGING ACCESS REP – Full Time Days Monday – Friday Greets patients and visitors who report the Imaging/Lab reception area. Maintains Imaging Services records and provides film management functions.  Responsible for preparing and completing required paperwork and reports. Assists with non-patient Laboratory and Outpatient registration procedures from the clinics.  Serves as a back-up for Registration, as needed.

SWITCHBOARD – 2 OPENINGS- 1 Part Time (12 hrs wk) Night Shift, & 1 Full Time (36 hrs wk) Night Shift -  Responsible for the hospital switchboard, ensuring incoming phone calls are greeted and routed appropriately. This position is physically located in the Emergency Department. Greets patients who present to the Emergency Room window.  Responsible for creating temporary registrations in the computer Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

ER ACCESS REPRESENTATIVES –1 PRN Nights 6:30p – 6:30a & weekends Provides indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.  Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.  Implements directions from physicians and nursing staff. Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters demographic and insurance information required for admission into the computer system correctly. Collects point of service collections from patients upon the registration process. Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments. Ensures highest level of customer service is provided to the patients and their families.

DIETARY SERVICES2 DIETARY SPECIALISTS - 1 CAFETERIA Full Time (32 hrs wk) mid shift 6:30a–3p – with weekend rotation & 1 PM COOK Part Time (8 hrs wk) 10:30a – 7p Every other weekend. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services, the Dietary Specialist performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties as well as other related tasks.

FAMILY BIRTHPLACEREGISTERED NURSE – Full Time  (36 hrs wk) & PRN II – Kansas licensed RN provides direct patient care in the Labor/Delivery/Nursery/ Postpartum setting.  Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.  Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies.  Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision. 

 

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES $1,000. SIGN ON BONUS. $250 BONUS FOR EMPLOYEES IF THEY RECRUIT & NEW HIRE STAYS FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS.

INFECTION PREVENTION TECHS NEEDED – 2 Full Time (40 hrs wk) 2ND Shift 3p – 11:30p with weekend rotation - Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, rest rooms, hallways, elevators and stairways according to procedures. Practices infection control techniques in all duties. Empties trash and garbage containers, replenishes supplies, and may change sheets and replenish linens. Notifies director concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and participates in regular meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

FLOOR TECHNICIAN – Full Time (40 hrs wk) 2nd Shift 3p – 11:30p with every other weekend. The Floor Technician is the individual who clean and maintains floors, carpets, and hard surfaces in the hospital. Duties include: cleaning and buffing hard surfaces, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing and stripping, carpet extraction. May clean furniture, empty trash, linen, and garbage containers. May handle hazardous waste in accordance with government regulations and hospital standards.

LABORATORY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST AND OR MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - Full Time (40 hrs wk) – Day Shift 6:30a – 5p (4 – 10’s) WITH ROTATING WEEKENDS - Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory.  Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. The MT must have 4 year Baccalaureate, MT(ASCP or CLS (MLS) or board eligible.  The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Must have post-secondary certificate or an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science required. MLT certification through ASCP, AMT or AAB. The MLT works under direct supervisor of MT

MEDICAL SURGICAL DEPT. –REGISTERED NURSE – 7 POSITIONS AVAILABLE - 3 Full Time Nights, 3 Full Time Days (36 hrs wk), 1 Part Time Days (24 hrs wk) & PRN’s - Kansas licensed RN accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients and collaborates with nursing and other health care.

CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (C.N.A.) 2 OPENINGS - 1 Part Time Nights 7p – 7a (12 hrs wk) & 1 Full Time Nights (36 hrs wk) 7p – 7a. Accountable for providing patient care in collaboration with the registered nurse, for all age groups of patient care. Must be certified C.N.A in the state of Kansas.

SURGERY 

*RN POSITIONS BONUS: For full time surgery RN new hires. $2,500. sign on/longevity bonus. $1,000. upon hire. $500. at 3 months, $500. at 6 months and $500. at 9 months. Promissory Note. Not eligible if you are currently working for RMH or have worked within the last 12 months.

*ASCU/PACU/PRE-OP – Full Time (36 hrs wk) Licensed registered nurse accountable for interviewing and assessing the patient in person or by phone. This nurse coordinates the total joint clinics. As a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team provides care for patients, also assigned to carry out the roles of the ASCU/PACU nurse.  Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.

*RN CIRCULATOR/ASCU/PACU Full Time Days (32 hrs wk) Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing preoperative assessment, intraoperative case management and patient care in collaboration with other perioperative professionals to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.  CNOR and experience preferred but will train the right candidate.  Call required with 15-minute response time

*RN CIRCULATOR – Full Time (36 hrs wk) & PRN I (no bonus) Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing preoperative assessment, intraoperative case management and patient care in collaboration with other perioperative professionals to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.  Serves as a leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, may be assigned to carry out Charge Nurse functions.

RN  ASCU/PACU - PRN II (no bonus) Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, may be assigned to carry out Charge Nurse functions, collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.

ORT – SURG TECH – Full Time (36 hrs wk) (no bonus) & PRN II – (No bonus) Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.  Ensures operating suite is prepared for procedure.  Monitors par level of all surgical instruments and supplies.  Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments.  Formal scrub tech training from Vocational school or armed forces preferred; CST license preferred. Call required with 15-minute response time. 

 

INTENSIVE CARE UNITREGISTERED NURSE – 2 PRN II - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver, collaborate with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.   

SPECIAL NURSING SERVICES -  OUTPATIENT DEPT. – REGISTERED NURSE – Part Time Days (20 hrs wk) Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients.  Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. Practices in clinic setting directed toward meeting patient needs. 

 

IMAGINGRAD/TECH PRN STUDENTS - Performs basic imaging procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including trauma radiography & surgery radiography.  Assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as necessary. Applicants must be attending and in good-standing with an accredited radiography program.

                                                                                                                    

REHABILITATION SERVICES ATHLETIC TRAINER PRN - Responsible delivering athletic training services at participating schools and for community events as appropriate.  Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability in the high school setting.  Implements the proper referral for further medical attention when necessary.  Plan and schedule community education projects.  Performs daily functions of the athletic training room.  The Certified Athletic Trainer will assist with day-to-day operations; work closely with other staff, physicians, student-athletes, parents, and other clients.  Required 4 year 4 year Baccalaureate Degree, NATABOC & must be licensed in the state of Kansas.

EMERGENCY DEPT.– REGISTERED NURSE NURSE – 2 OPENINGS – 1 Part Time Days (16 hours per pay period), & 1 PRN II - Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care & determines priorities on patient’s needs. Must be licensed in the state of Kansas.

CHARGE RN – 4 Full Time (36 hrs wk) OPENINGS – 2 Day Shifts & 2 Night Shifts – Licensed registered nurse provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, performing general nursing duties.  Shares accountability with Emergency Services Director for effective organization and function of the Emergency Department on a 24 hour/ 7 day a week basis, and collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. 

CHARGE RN RELIEF – 2 OPENINGS – 1 Part Time Day Shift (12 hrs wk) & 1 Part Time Night Shift (12 hrs wk) -

Licensed registered nurse provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, performing general nursing duties.  Shares accountability with Emergency Services Director for effective organization and function of the Emergency Department on a 24 hour/ 7 day a week basis, and collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients
