LABORATORY MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST AND OR MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - Full Time (40 hrs wk) – Day Shift 6:30a – 5p (4 – 10’s) WITH ROTATING WEEKENDS - Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory.  Maintains laboratory records. Follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. The MT must have 4 year Baccalaureate, MT(ASCP or CLS (MLS) or board eligible.  The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Must have post-secondary certificate or an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science required. MLT certification through ASCP, AMT or AAB. The MLT works under direct supervisor of MT

SURGERY - ORT – SURG TECH – PRN II available – Assists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.  Ensures operating suite is prepared for procedure.  Monitors par level of all surgical instruments and supplies.  Cleans and sterilizes all surgical instruments.  Formal scrub tech training from Vocational school or armed forces preferred; CST license preferred. Call required with 15-minute response time. 

INTENSIVE CARE UNITREGISTERED NURSE – PRN II - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver, collaborate with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.   

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES $1,000. SIGN ON BONUS FOR NEW HIRES ONLY (receive bonus upon hire but agrees to stay for one year) & $250 BONUS FOR EMPLOYEES IF THEY RECRUIT & NEW HIRE STAYS FOR A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS.

INFECTION PREVENTION TECHS NEEDED

– 2 Full Time Positions (bonus) (40 hrs wk) 2ND Shift 3p – 11:30p will have weekend rotation &

1 Part Time Position (no bonus) (30 hrs wk) at Outside Clinics 5 days a week, Mon - Fri, 6 hrs day 5p-11:30p

Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, waiting rooms, rest rooms, hallways, elevators and stairways according to procedures. Practices infection control techniques in all duties. Empties trash and garbage containers, replenishes supplies, and may change sheets and replenish linens. Notifies director concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and participates in regular meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

REHABILITATION SERVICES PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT PRN II - Responsible for administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff Physical Therapist.  Administers treatments and physical agents as directed by the staff Physical Therapist, after the physical therapist has evaluated the patient.  The Physical Therapy Assistant assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  Must be a licensed PTA in the state of Kansas.

CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAIST PRN II – Responsible for administering occupational therapy modalities and procedures of treatment as directed and supervised by the Staff Occupational Therapist.  The Occupational Therapy Assistant assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  The Occupational Therapy Assistant participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Must be a licensed COTA in the state of Kansas.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST – PRN II - The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.  Provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.  Ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis while patient care is documented thoroughly.  Must have current state of Kansas License.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - PRN II - Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Administers treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Must have current state of Kansas License.

PHYSICIAN PRACTICE EXPRESS CARE CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – 2 - 1 Full Time Position (40 hrs wk) 12p – 9p - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant. 

FAMILY BIRTH PLACE. - REGISTERED NURSE - 1 Full Time (36 hrs wk) Nights 6:30p – 7a - Provides direct patient care in the Labor/Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum setting.  Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.  Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies.  Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.  Must be licensed RN in the state of Kansas.

EMERGENCY DEPT.– For full time ER RN new hires with one year experience in emergency room nursing. $2,500. sign on/longevity bonus. $1,000. upon hire. $500. at 3 months, $500. at 6 months and $500. at 9 months. Promissory Note. Not eligible if you are currently working for RMH or have worked within the last 12 months.

CHARGE RN RELIEF – 2 OPENINGS – 1 Part Time Day Shift (24 hrs wk) Licensed registered nurse provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, performing general nursing duties.  Shares accountability with Emergency Services Director for effective organization and function of the Emergency Department on a 24 hour/ 7 day a week basis, and collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients
