IMAGING - ULTRA SOUND TECH – FULL TIME (40 hrs wk) Days - Performs ultrasound procedures for the purpose of providing diagnostic interpretation including general, vascular, echocardiography and surgical procedures, assists with filing and reporting system within the department and registers patients as needed.  Assists radiologist as necessary. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) & RDMS required  

FAMILY BIRTH PLACE – DIRECTOR – Full Time Monday – Friday 8a – 4:30p - The Family Birthplace Director is accountable for the organization, function and management of the department which includes OB, nursery and women’s health on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis.  Managing and developing a team of less than twenty (20).  Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients, provides patient care as necessary. Must be a licensed registered nurse in the state of Kansas.

LABORATORY – DIRECTOR OF LABORATORY – Full Time Monday – Friday - Responsible for direction and coordination of the personnel in Clinical Laboratory services.  Activities included are performance of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests performed in the Clinical Laboratory to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases.  Ensures that services are of the best quality, are cost contained and are carried out in an expeditious manner.  Responsible for recognizing results or problems that require referral to the Laboratory Medical Director.  Ensures regulatory compliance for all agencies in all areas of the Laboratory. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.  Formulates budget.  Maintains effective physician and intradepartmental relations. Bachelor’s Degree required, in Medical Technology or related scientific field.  Supervisory clinical laboratory experience preferred.

FAMILY BIRTH PLACE – REGISTERED NURSE – Part Time (30 hrs wk) Nights 6:30p – 6:30a Provides direct patient care in the Labor/Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum setting.  Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.  Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies.  Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.  Participates in performance improvement activities. Must be licensed RN in the state of KS.

REGISTERED NURSE Weekend Option – Part Time (24 hrs wk) Friday & Saturday night 6:30p – 6:30a, Premium pay for this weekend option - with 2 years’ experience -  Provides direct patient care in the Labor/Delivery/Nursery/Postpartum setting.  Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.  Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies.  Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.  Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.  Participates in performance improvement activities. Must be licensed RN in the state of KS.

DIETARY – DIETARY SPECIALIST –PRN (as needed) - Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services, the Dietary Specialist performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties as well as other related tasks.

MEDICAL SURGICAL –  REGISTERED NURSE – 1 Full Time (36 hrs wk) Days 6:30a – 6:30p & 1 Full Time (36 hrs wk) Nights 6:30p – 6:30a - Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients. Must be licensed RN in the state of Kansas.

NURSING ADMINISTRATION NURSING SUPERVISOR – PRN II - The Nursing House Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her assigned shift. In the absence of the Administrator and/or designee, the Nursing House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator-on-Call. Must be licensed RN in the state of Kansas.

PHYSICIAN PRACTICES EXPRESS CARE – ADVANCED REGISTERED NURSE PRACTITIONER – PRN II – must work 1 weekend each month. Hours noon to 9p Monday – Friday, 10a – 6pm Sat/Sun & Holidays - Responsible for providing primary healthcare to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling. Works with supervision of a physician following established guidelines as required and within established scope of practice for each discipline. Must be licensed ARNP in the state of Kansas.

CLERK – Part Time (12 hrs wk) & a Part Time (24 hrs wk) – Clinic Hours Mon. – Fri. 12p – 9p & Weekends 10a – 6p, will work holidays and weekends - Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients.  As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills.    Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of medical office healthcare financial and insurance coverage policies. Performs customer service functions in the medical office setting.  Ensures highest level of customer service is provided to the patients and their families.  Performs business office responsibilities.  Responsible for scheduling patient appointments.  Performs other clerical duties as needed. 

EMERGENCY – REGISTERED NURSE – Full Time (36 hrs wk) Mids 1p – 1a & PRN II - Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.  Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.  Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system.  Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.  Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Must be licensed RN in the state of Kansas. 

PHYSICIAN PRACTICES ADMINISTRATION – CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – Office Hours Monday – Friday 8a – 5p - Part Time (20 hrs wk), a Part Time (24 hrs wk) & a Float PRN - Perform clerical and/or patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients. These staff members function under the supervision and authority of the licensed physician, or non-physician provider licensed in State of Kansas.  Maintains efficient patient flow, supports an environment of patient safety and satisfaction and demonstrates problem-solving skills. Constructively collaborates with team to find the optimal office efficiencies while maintaining patient centered care.   Available to provide back-up and coverage to multiple RMH clinics, registration desks, and performing front and back office duties; schedules appointments, greets patients, and prepares charts; performs registration and check-in/out functions; verifies insurance benefits; maintains various records and databases of information; prepares correspondence and reports; assists the supervising physician in direct patient care, including exams and treatments within the office setting.  Responds to caller general information requests and inquiries; refers callers to appropriate area; performs other duties as assigned.

MEDICAL SURGICAL/I.C.U REGISTERED NURSE FLOAT – Full Time (36 hrs wk) Night Shift 7pm-7am – Weekend Option Available - Licensed registered nurse to float ICU and Medical-Surgical Unit. Accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team, providing care for patients. Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups or patients. ICU experience required. Must be licensed RN in the state of KS.

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES INFECTION PREVENTION TECH – SEVERAL OPENINGS – Days & Nights Full Time (40 hrs wk) & PRN (as needed) – Experience Preferred but not required. Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, exam rooms, rest rooms, hallways, elevators and stairways according to procedures. Practices infection control techniques in all duties. Empties trash and garbage containers, replenishes supplies, and may change sheets and replenish linens. Notifies director concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner and participates in regular meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
