Licensed Practical Nurse
Description
The licensed practical nurse performs selected acts for the promotion of health and in the care of persons who are ill, injured, or experiencing alterations in the normal health processes. Such performance requires substantial specialized skill, knowledge and judgment. All such nursing care shall be given under the direction of a registered nurse. Supportive of Village mission and values.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of nursing Licensed practical nurse in the state of Missouri. Must have excellent social, organizational, and problem solving skills Essential aptitudes include: spatial, clerical and form perception, color discrimination, motor coordination, finger dexterity, manual dexterity, and eye/ hand/foot coordination. Must have ability to follow instructions Must have excellent time management skills Must have multitasking and problem solving abilities Required to work on all nursing communities in the Village Care Center.
Certified Medical Technician
Description
Certified medication technician is specially trained to set up medications, administer them to the proper patient/resident and document administration in the medical record. Functions under the supervision of professional nurse within parameters of State approved credentialing. Responsible for supervising or providing direct patient care. Supportive of Village mission and values.
Requirements
Certified Nursing Assistant
Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant Special Care provides assistance, supervision and services to residents. Will act under the supervision of a charge nurse. Provides assistance to residents of Assisted Living, cuing activities such as dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, etc. Ensures residents are accounted for and reside in a safe environment. Monitors the location of residents on the unit, monitors doors and alarm systems, identifies, reports and helps to correct unsafe conditions.

Quality Assurance - Education Coordinator
Description
Coordinate quality improvement /assurance activities to ensure residents receive the highest level of quality care. Plans/Coordinates VCC education, staff needs, resident needs and regulatory compliance. Works directly with Director of Nursing in coordinating the CQI team. Assists in “Nursing new associate orientation and retention”.
Plans, coordinates and conducts regular and special request staff in-services as indicated. Implements skills training programs for nursing associates. Assures regulatory requirements for staff development are met. Assists/collaborates with all members of leadership to provide educational programs. Assists individual associates with learning opportunities for professional growth. Monitors VCC quality indicator/quality assurance reports and implements improvement plans outcome based results; improved QI results as well as improved regulatory compliance. Co-leader for VCC CQI Team ensuring positive nursing outcomes while achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensed in the state of Missouri. Experience: Minimum of 3 years long term care experience with a minimum of 2 years direct involvement in QI/QM process. Evidence of LTC education experience. Proficiency in Federal/State regulations as r/t staff development. Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license as a registered nurse in the state of Missouri. Knowledge and Skills (required unless otherwise noted): Understanding of MOS 2.0.
